We met with Marija in mid 2018 to discuss the possibility of her designing our new home in Newtown. From our first meeting, we have been very happy and impressed with Marija.
Having built previous homes, we knew what we wanted and presented Marija with a broad list of requirements in our brief. We wanted this home to be our final home and it needed to cater for both our current and future needs.
Marija had listened carefully and paid attention to the brief and came up with an initial plan. This plan, with some minor tweaks, became the final plan. We were delighted, as she was able to incorporate all of our requirements. These included such things as a downstairs master suite, north facing living, outside access from the master bedroom and lots of natural light. She also provided us with a choice of possible profiles for the outside and this was good.
While our house is a double storey, all of our living needs are on the ground floor
which will enable us to stay in it for the long term. The second storey is available for family and friends when they come to stay.
We have been living in our new home for a short period of time and we cannot stop smiling as it is everything we hoped it would be!
